NOTES FROM CCC FINANCE COMMITTEE MEETING –

FEBRUARY 25, 2009

The Finance Committee met to discuss in detail the 2008-09 Chamber of Commerce Budget. It was determined that because of the general financial downturn, the budget needed a careful review to bring it in line with realistically expected revenues and to cut expenses where ever possible. It was also determined that no new expenses should be added.

The Committee did a line by line review. Susan to take the figures generated from the meeting and put them into the budget format. She is also to prepare a staffing plan for the summer months to bring it in line with the money available in the payroll line.

A further review will be held at the next Finance Committee meeting on March 9 at 8:30 AM at Wilber Bank, Main Street.
