"Trolley at Intersection of Main and Chestnut"

Parking is extremely scarce on Main Street and surrounding streets. In addition, parking is limited to two hours on Main Street and most other streets in the Village of Cooperstown and is STRICTLY ENFORCED.

During summer months, a limited amount of all-day and hourly parking is available for a fee in Doubleday Field Parking Lot. This centrally-located parking lot is accessible from Chestnut Street (south of the Cooperstown Chamber of Commerce) or from Main Street (next to the Key Bank Building).

For an enjoyable and hassle-free visit to Cooperstown we recommend you take advantage of the free parking areas and ride the Trolley. The Trolleys will bring you to the Museums, Main Street shopping, and other points of interest. It also stops near the Chamber office and Main Street Information Center. The operating schedule is shown below.

Please plan on using the perimeter parking lots and the Trolley system - you'll be glad you did. Parking is FREE and the Trolley fare is $2.00 per person an all day pass. It's a great way to see our beautiful village!

Look for the blue "Park and Take the Trolley" signs as you approach Cooperstown.

Blue Lot: Off Route 28 just south of the Village of Cooperstown (traveling north from Oneonta).

Red Lot: Off Route 28 north (Glen Avenue) at Maple Street (traveling south on Route 28 from Route 20).

Yellow Lot: On Route 80 at upper parking lot of Fenimore Art Museum (traveling south on Route 80 from Route 20).

Summer June 6th through Labor Day	Daily	8:30am - 9:00pm Last trolley leaves Hall of Fame at 9pm
Fall September 10th through Columbus Day	Weekends only	9:00am - 5:00pm Last trolley leaves Hall of Fame at 5pm

Paid Parking begins on May 28 - weekends only through 6/12 at $5.00 per day

6/13 Paid parking in effect through Labor Day weekend at $10 per day

9/13 through Columbus day paid parking on Weekends at $5 per day

Beginning June 6, all large vehicles are directed to the Yellow Lot - there will be limited trolley service daily to service this lot until full service resumes on June 13.
