Trolleys & Parking

"Trolley at Intersection of Main and Chestnut"

Our quaint village shares a common problem with larger metropolitan areas - parking! Parking is extremely limited in the village.

For an enjoyable and hassle-free visit to Cooperstown we recommend you take advantage of the free parking areas and ride the Trolley rather than driving into the village. The Trolleys will bring you to the Museums, Main Street shopping, and other points of interest. It also stops near the Chamber office and Main Street Information Center. The operating schedule is shown below. We suggest Doubledy Parking Lot in the off-season only- it is usually full by 9:00am in-season.

Please plan on using the perimeter parking lots and theTrolley system - you'll be glad you did. Parking is FREE and the Trolley fare is $3.00 per adult, $1.00 for children 12 and under, for an unlimited daily pass. It's a great way to see our beautiful village!

Look for the blue "Park and Take the Trolley" signs as you approach Cooperstown.
