About our Rooms

Built in 1832 as a stagecoach stop between Albany and Oneonta, the Charlotte Valley Inn has been meticulously restored over a span of ten years.  The Inn has been furnished with antiques of the Federal and early Empire period, with great attention to detail.  The rooms have period lighting, wide pine floors, and their original windows with its uniquely-textured glass.  The bathrooms have been restored with pedestal sinks and brass fixtures, flagstone floors, and Delft tile.  In keeping with our love of history, all of the rooms have been named for Presidents of the early United States.  The entire Inn is a showcase for antiques, all of which are available for purchase.

The Martin Van Buren Room Full size Connecticut Flame Finial four-poster bed, private bath; can be a suite with the Adams Room.	The John Adams Room Chippendale full size mahogany four-poster bed, writing desk; can be a suite with the Van Buren Room.
The Andrew Jackson Room Twin size reeded canopy beds, shared bath.	The James Madison Room Full size reeded canopy bed, semi-private bath.
The Thomas Jefferson Room Full size pineapple post bed, private bath.	All of the rooms have views of the beautiful Valley or the Hamlet.

• Rates: $90 - $125 (higher for special events & holiday weekends).
• Deposit equal to one night's stay required with reservation.  Balance due upon arrival.
