Parking
All three trolley lots will be available. Trolley transportation
will be provided for a $3 fee for adults and $1 for children 12
and under. Look for Concert Parking signs as you approach the village.
Parking will also be available on private property throughout the
village – fees vary. There will be plenty of police directing
traffic.
Trolleys will drop people off at the Key Bank building located adjacent
to Doubleday Field and pick them up for the return trip to the lots.
There may be delays at the end of the concert. The Red Lot on Rte
28 North and Glen Avenue is within walking distance the others are
a mile away.
Concert
Venue - Doubleday Field is located in the center of Cooperstown
The Good News
Concert is rain or shine.
Children 12 and under admitted free with paid adult.
Strollers are permitted.
Doors open at 5:30. Concert begins at 6:30. Concert ends at approximately
9:30.
All seating is general admission, bleachers and lawn seating on
blankets only. The field needs to be protected from damage as it
hosts over 400 baseball games a year so chairs cannot be permitted!
The Bad News
No carry in coolers or carry in refreshments of any kind will be
allowed inside the concert venue.
No umbrellas.
No cameras, video or taping devices.
No passouts, if you leave the concert you will not be allowed to
return.
THIS IS AN ALCOHOL/DRUG FREE EVENT. Sorry but there will be a search
at the entrances to Doubleday Field.
Food
The Cooperstown Fire Department will be selling hot dogs, hamburgers,
veggie burgers, chicken patties, french fries and soft drinks throughout
the evening.
Handicapped Parking
Available by permit behind the Chamber Office and in the County
Annex lots. If you need handicapped seating please let us know.
Call (607)547-9571, there is also a drop off area and a special
easy access gate. Seating is on bleachers, some chairs will
be provided - consider bringing a cushion.
Rest Rooms
Rest rooms will be provided on site.
