Saturday, September 27th - Weigh-In Day at Doubleday Field Parking Lot

10am

Giant Pumpkin Weigh-Off

10am See 1,000 pound pumpkins, giant gourds and humungous watermelons compete for the largest pay-out in the country.  Over $8,000 in prize money! Prize Structure.

Craft Fair

10am-4pm Including crafts from around the area, Adirondack decor, clothing, pumpkin butter, quilting fabrics and supplies, and woodworking.

Food Booths

10am-4pm From chili and soups to hot dogs and hamburgers, there will be something to delight every palette. Lots of pumpkin specialities too! Fresh cider, apples, popcorn and bake sale too.

Farmer's Market

9am-2pm Fresh produce, crafts, flowers, food and more. Adjacent to Doubleday Parking Lot in Pioneer Alley.

Scavenger Hunt

10am-3pm Pick up instructions at PumpkinFest Headquarters, where T-Shirts are being sold. Free fun for the whole family, and win prizes too.

Kids' Pumpkin Patch

10am-4pm Pumpkin decorating, face painting and games. Benefits the Cooperstown Central School PTO.

Pumpkin Tasting

To benefit the Cooperstown United Methodist Church. Sample delicious pumpkin pie, pumpkin bars, pumpkin bread, and much more! Small fee.

Wine Tasting at Cooperstown Wine & Spirits

3-5pm Located at 45 Pioneer St., just a block over from Doubleday Field. Sample a variety of wines, including some local favorites.

The Jock-ular Juggler

11am and 1 pm Don't miss this amazing display from a master juggler as he juggles all sorts of sports items! Located in Pioneer Park, by the flagpole on Main Street.

Magic Show with Merdwin the Mediocre

Noon and 2pm Settle onto a hay bale and watch Merdwin the Magician mesmerize children of all ages!

Zep the Clown

11am-3pm Be entertained by Zep the Clown, and take home a balloon animal, too! Zep will be walking around PumpkinFest all day.

Sunday, September 28th - Regatta Day at Lakefront Park

10am

Pumpkin Regatta

10am Come early to watch as the giant pumpkins are hollowed out and made seaworthy for the regatta.  Racing heats will begin at 11am. Fun competition and lots of laughs make this a not-to-miss event! Sponsorship Opportunities are available. First place sponsor race winner is awarded $250 and a trophy.

Food Booths

10am-3pm Hot dogs, soup, kielbasa, pumpkin specialities, and much more.

Craft Show

10am-3pm Come and view treasures from local crafters.

Inflatables

11am-3pm Great fun for the kids! Play on the Adrenaline Rush and Bounce House.50 cents per turn.

The Lost Boys Concert

12pm Traditional and original bluegrass and acoustic music. John Cadley, Mark Allnatt, Ted Williams, John Dancks and Henry Jankiewicz.
