There is Free limited parking in the rear of our building
and both free and paid parking options available nearby the Inn


As of November 2007 The Village of Cooperstown has passed a Paid Parking Law.
The purpose of this page is to update rates, restrictions and location of the paid parking and
to provide information on Free parking available as well.  This page will be updated accordingly.


Free Parking
1) At the Tunnicliff Inn we have Free limited parking in the rear of our building.
2) Lake Street is also free to park between the signs April-October (located a 1 minute walk from the Tunnicliff Inn)
3) Doubleday Field from 6pm-9am sharp (other times $2 per hour up to $15 per day)
4) Lake Front Park


3 FREE PARKING LOTS
with Trolley Transportation

Useful for overnight parking or guests arriving into town before check-in time.
Trolley stops at the Main Street Information Center (Kiosk in the Park)
Which is right next to the Tunnicliff Inn.

Look for the blue
"Park and Take the Trolley" signs
As you approach Cooperstown.

Blue Lot (Traveling on 28 North) Just south of the Village of Cooperstown If you pass Ace Hardware and the Pepper Mill On the right you just missed it.

Red Lot (Traveling on 28 South) At Maple St.

Yellow Lot (Traveling on Rt 80 South) At upper parking lot of Fenimore Art Museum

ALL DAY PASSES:
Adults $3.00
Children (12 & under) $2.00

May 21st through June 26th	Weekends only	8:30am - 5:30pm
June 27th through Labor Day	Every day	8:30am - 9:00pm
Labor Day through Columbus Day	Weekends only	8:30am - 5:30pm

Parking is limited in the village of Cooperstown. To alleviate problems, we suggest you consider parking in one of the three convenient public lots and use the trolleys for transportation in the village. In the map below, the three trolley lots (yellow, red, and blue) are shown. Note the location of the Hall of Fame and Museum, marked with the Hall of Fame logo.

Paid Parking:

Doubleday Field Parking Lot (2 minute walk from the Tunnicliff Inn)
Paid Parking is from 9:00am - 6:00pm June 1st - September 1st
$2.00 per hour with a maximum daily rate of $15.00
If you park overnight without purchasing the next day's ticket, the village will fine you.
Avoid this by moving your car or purchasing a ticket before 9:00am.
